will my wedding dress come clean?
The night before my wedding my husband cut his hand. On the wedding night he was taking my dress off ;p and caught the wound and got blood all down the back of my dress. Will it come clean? Also whilst on the matter does any one know of a SAFE, cheaper way of leaning it than taking it to a dry cleaners, thanks

No, seriously, this is an heirloom. Don’t take any chances, the dry cleaner will not only remove the blood stain, but also perspiration that will turn it yellow over time. Plus, they add a preservative that will keep any embellishments, beads, pearls, or lace from aging and becoming damaged. Moreover, they will pack the dress in archival, chemical free paper and a box that will preserve it in pristine condition. I use old wedding dresses to make memory pillows for people who improperly stored their gowns and they cannot be used again when their daughter’s marry. The disappointment of improper cleaning and storage is just too sad.
It’s your wedding dress… only the dry cleaners can take good care of an item like this.
