I am buying a burnished gold (not like gold lame, much duller) shift dress to wear to a wedding but have no idea what colour accessories, shoes or bag would go best, I was thinking black but then I changed my mind… I have no idea? Thanks

I would like something classy but not too old fashioned if you know what I mean I live not far from Manchester.

i’ll be going to a wedding at the end of this month (January) in London. my dress is knee-length– (dark deep navy, satin). what shoes/shoes should i wear? (color, type, etc).

i want to make it a bit more casual (don’t want to take over the bride’s day), but i want to still look elegant and am concerned about comfort (hoping the heels aren’t too slippery since i walk really slow in them).. i’ll be looking for a cardigan too, but once i figure out what color shoes (and if it should be opened or closed toe), i will find a matching color cardigan. what do you suggest? please be as specific as possible. =) thanks so much

by the way, i’m really small. i’m a petite 5 feet & 1/2 inches–if that helps.
oops. i noticed some typos. so sorry!

Birmingham city councillor Salma Yaqoob – following a public meeting alongside Adrian Goldberg, Khalid Mahmood MP, John Hemming MP, Apache Indian, Cllr Judy Foster and Chief Insp Adrian Atherley – calls on the West Midlands Police to ban a march by far-right groups planned for September; following the violence erupted amidst an EDL – Casuals United demonstration on 8th August in the city. Here she exlains why the EDL’s forthcoming march should be banned for reasons of public safety and to maintain Birmingham’s healthy tradition of diversity and tolerance. She also highlights how the EDL has officially stated its stance against ‘all devout Muslims’. The EDL has been banned from marching in Luton by Bedfordshire Police following 14000 letters of complaint. We can do the same in Birmingham. To request a ban, please write to: Alan Johnson MP (Home Secretary): public.enquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk Chief Constable Chris Simms (West Midlands Police): contactus@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk Participate here: action.hopenothate.org.uk Date: Sunday 23rd August 2009 Venue: Birmingham Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B1.
