youtube.com LONDON – White Gallery London 2011 Fashion Shows present internationally known bridal designers like Stewart Parvin, who showed his collection first. “Everything was so well-received,” Stewart Parvin tells FTV host Amanda Rudin, “We’ve got dresses on call already, you know, don’t know show that dress to anyone!”he exclaims. Ian Stuart’s tulle and chiffon wrapped gowns are stunning. “You know weddings are a very special day and I wanted to create an emotion, the same kind of emotion in the fashion show that you would get at an actual real wedding so it was very, kind of, weepy and whimsical at the same time,” Ian Stuart tells FashionTV. His inspirations include international references, old movies, and history books. Alan Hannah’s show presents modestly captivating dresses that still take the breath away. “We’ve had a very successful show,” says Alan Hannah designer Marguerite, who says the runway show includes dresses that they would normally have not shown before on a catwalk. Matthew Williamson’s bridal collection is always well received, merely because his reputation is so stellar. But his dresses prove there’s a reason for this. A representative for the Matthew Williamson bridal collection says it’s a first for the collection at the White Gallery but they’ve had a great reception.
