Does Revelation 18:21-24 show that “Babylon The Great” is all of false religion, especially Revelation 18:23?
Revelation 18:21-24 shows the destruction of Babylon The Great by a strong angel. Do these verses, especially Revelation 18:23 which says, “and no light of a lamp will ever shine in you again, and no voice of a bridegroom and of a bride will ever be heard in you again; because your traveling merchants were the top-ranking men of the earth, for by your spiritistic practice all the nations were misled.”
Would you agree that Babylon The Great must be all of false religion today because where else would you hear the voice of a bridegroom and bride but in a religious establishment?
Edit: We know that the book of Revelation is prophecy for our time and day because John himself tells us at the 1st part of Revelation 1:10, “By inspiration I came to be in the Lord’s day.” And from studying other Bible prophecies we know that we are now living in the ‘Lord’s day’, in his presence. Thanks for your answers up to now.
