I need to lose 3 stone for my wedding next year. Everytime I try to diet I do really well for the first 3-4 weeks and lose loads of weight but then I can never keep it up. I can lose weight no problem when I put my mind to it but I can never sustain my diet. In the last year, I have tried Slimming World, Weight Watchers and Slim Fast. I did well initially on all the diets and then gave up and went back to eating rubbish. I really want to get back to being thin and have started eating healthily last week but I just feel it’s a matter of time before I go back to eating rubbish foods and putting my weight back on. I’ve always been quite fit and healthy but since dieting for my wedding in January, I’ve kind of let things slip! I’ve joined a gym and I’ve had a programme put together which I intend to stick to. I also had a full fitness check done so I know what I need to improve on! Now I just need to do it. My goal is to loose one stone by Christmas! They gym isn’t a problem for me, I used to go and I enjoy it and will go at least twice a week so motivation there is fine. What I struggle with is food!!! Particularly my sweet tooth which can quite happily devour a bag of choccies or a whole box of cakes if the mood takes me!! This is mainly a problem at work when I’m bored the temptation takes hold. So I’m just looking for tips of staying focused and avoiding this temptation. Is there anything I can do to help?
