One of my friends is getting married, but wants to do it on small budget. What things can i suggest to her to keep the costs down. The only things she has so far is the wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses. Thanks.

i’m not too keen on traditional white wedding dresses but have seen a white maxi dress that i like. it needs to be suitable for a relaxed hippy wedding as im getting married at the bottom of a waterfall next august. any ideas???

I’ve seen a Marc Jacobs wedding dress that costs double what we have budgeted for the wedding dress. We’ve budgeted our wedding so not the spend a lot of money that we might not have, we’ve both put half of our life saving into the wedding.

I really like the dress and have said I would pay for the dress myself, but he refuses to let me spend that over £4,000 on a dress. If he had his own way I wouldn’t be allowed to spend as much money as I do on clothes though it is with my own money. We are having a winter wedding but I really like the dress, even if I will be a little cold. Should I find another dress or just buy it and upsetting him.
