Do Brides Wearing Short Dresses Normally Have Bridesmaids? And What Would They Wear?

My cousin is getting married next September and she’s wearing a dress that comes to just above her knee. It won’t be a church wedding, probably in a hotel near us, and the aisle isn’t very long but she thinks she still wants bridesmaids. the only problem is that we don’t know what to dress them in… any ideas? thanks!

it can be the same length. theirs no rules.
If the bride is wearing tea-length, the bridesmaids should wear tea-length, as well. There are PLENTY of cute and affordable tea-length bridesmaid dresses. Just do a Google search.
I would go for the same length
Depends on how many and the age of the bridesmaids. Little youngsters may look cute in long dresses or short dresses, however if they are teenagers, they want to be stylish, ladies over 50′s covered. Why not ask the bridesmaids for some suggestions if they are older, there are some fabulous off the shelf dresses available that don’t cost the earth. Shop around.

The bridesmaids would have to wear short dresses as well as they would look silly being longer than the brides.

Well usually just make sure the bridesmaid arnt wearing the same color or style of dress.
The bridesmaids can too wear short dresses. Or knee length dresses.
