stag party accomodation in amsterdam?

we are 18 guys travelling from ireland to amsterdam, looking for somewhere to sleep for 2 nights, pref not hotel but apartments or similar. any suggestions?

Should we have a joint hen’s/stag party?

My fiance and I just spent a wonderful weekend in Charleroi in Brussels for my birthday. The hotel was lovely and the local Irish Bar was absolutely great. We had such a great time there that I mentioned to him that I was thinking of having my hen’s party there before the wedding – it would be as cheap as a weekend out in Dublin but a hell of a lot more fun! He agreed with me and said that he was thinking of having his stags’ party there also, then he suggested a joint hen’s/stag’s weekend? I think it is a great idea – we love spending time together and all our friends always get on great so it could end up being an absolute riot of a party (in a good sense). But the few people we have mentioned it to so far look at us as if to say we are crazy – what do you think? Good or bad idea and why?
There seem to be a lot of you out there who are of the “one last night of freedom – get your rocks off” school of thought! This is not our thinking – we do not see our marriage as some form of punishment that we will be incarcerated in for the rest of our lives – our stag/hen party is just a celebration – not an excuse to have meaningless sex with some random person! Plus it will be a month or two before the wedding, so it’s not like it will be the last chance for either of us to go out with our friends alone!
