Wedding Rain – Liz Story

This piece is the first track off of Liz Story’s very popular “Solid Colors.” I played this at a wedding last year as part of the prelude. When I made my decision to prepare this, because at the time I did not know the piece, I questioned whether or not I should be playing a piece that had the words “wedding” and “rain” – 2 things that should not go together. However, it could not have been more appropriate as there were torrential downpours on the day of this early October wedding. I told the father of the bride that this song was responsible for the rain and he jokingly replied, “Laura, I’m glad you didn’t play a piece called Wedding Snow.”

Little Tin Soldier, Happy Tin Soldier!

Workin it out Father of the Bride Part II style!!

Hi. My name is Ken Ketterer and I am on a quest. A quest for fun. John Hughes passing has, again, made me realize life is short and unknowing. So, I will make this short. I am an unknown screenwriter looking to make “National Lampoon’s Wedding Vacation”. I have a script completed (with many, many rewrites..),dialogue, setting, scenes, complete ideas with a beginning, middle and ending. I need pointed in the right direction. if you can seriously (or just want to make comments) help in this project, please contact me through this posting. This is the real crazy part, I would be like to cast all original members from the 1983 movie (Have you seem Dana Barron (Audrey) lately? She is still gorgeous! or imagine Jane Krakowski (Cousin Vicki) as one of the strippers at the bachelor party. Basic idea: Clark Griswold’s (Chevy Chase) daughter Audrey (Dana Barron) is getting married. In the great Griswold style, Clark, being the father of the bride, is pulling out all the stops for the wedding of his little girl. With a week to go before the big day, Clark, along with his Boss, Mr. Frank Shirley (Brian Doyle-Murray) who just so happens to be the father of the groom to be, is forced into early retirement. Let the hilarity begin! Scenes: *The big announcement *The letting go of Clark *Clark looking for part time work *Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo) looking for part time work *The homecoming of Rusty (Anthony Michael Hall) with his significant other… *Clark purchases a GPS from Ed Shohet

I’m hosting a Multi-Fandom Father’s Day contest. You may enter up to 4 videos of any of the fandoms. Old and new videos allowed. Any song allowed over 1 minuted. Must be your own work and no slide shows. I will award prizes at the end, depending on how many entries I recieve. Contest Deadline: June 17, 2010 Fandoms: DOOL 7TH Heaven Alias Beverly Hills 90210 Charmed CSI Miami Gilmore Girls Gossip Girl Smallville Veronica Mars LOST OTH Friends Movies: Father of the Bride Frequency I am Sam My Girl Mrs. Doubtfire The Last Song Twilight Trilogy Parent Trap-either version FYI: The clips from certain shows are suggestions. Obviously, I couldn’t showcase every father-child relationship from those fandoms. There are numerous possibilities from some, especially from DOOL, BH 90210, 7th Heaven, and Charmed. Update: Per requests, Though I have only seen a few episodes of each, I’ll allow videos of LOST and OTH. Keep in mind though, I’m not familar with these shows and you’d really have to sell your video to me. I’m also adding Veronica Mars, Friends, and either version of the Parent Trap. Have fun and good luck! FYI: Youtube changed how to do video responses. Just put the curser in the comment box and the attach video button pops up. Click on that and select the video you wish to attach.
