I want to study social work, I am really interested in this career. I want to stay close to home though, but I want a good university with good teaching. I have my mind on Birmingham City University and Wolverhampton.

What are some nice areas in the West Midlands for people that follow a more let’s say..rock n roll lifestyle? i’d like to live somewhere with enough opportunities for a band, good rock pubs to drink at, and not much hassle from trendies and the like? preferably close to Walsall, somewhere in Birmingham perhaps? i am a bedroom DJ and i have blown my speakers
(i dont know how, it wasnt thru blasting the life out of them!?!?!)
..and i need replacements. im not too clued up on frequencies and what not but i can give you as much info as i have.
I need to know the best place to go for to repair or replace my damaged speakers preferably in the west midlands/birmingham area.tried matthews but they want over £300.? is this reasonable?
I need a diafraghm for a cerwin vega TMH-1, which is out of a MT-102, i also need the mid driver out of that cab which is a LM-104.
i think i have blown the bass bin which is a sub-18, also cerwin vega.
(is there a way of definately telling if i have blown this and how bad the damage is?)
also, any golden rules so i dont repeat this very expensive experience again?
