Best type of gold for wedding jewellery?
What is the best type of gold for use in a wedding ring – ie 9k 18k etc?
I know what the different numbers mean im just not sure whether 9k is better for longevity because it is harder or whether or not 18k is better as it is purer?
Thanks everyone

9K is more hard wearing, but 18K is more expensive
Never wear 9K and 18K together ,as in wedding and engagement rings,
as the 9K will rub into the 18K ring
14-18 karat is standard for wedding jewelry. Yes, it’s softer, but if you take care of it and get it cleaned & buffed regularly, it won’t be noticeable.
18k imo.
There is only a slight difference in longivity and you can always get it buffed.
9k is only if you can’t afford 18k.
