My partner & I would love to celebrate our marraige by doing a worthy cause – ie, ask guests not to bring gifts, but if they wish to, support us with a donation towards charities we support. We are getting married in Sri Lanka where most of the guests are from – we need to word this suggestion correctly (so it doesn’t look like we are demanding money!!)and send this out with the invites.
